Soooo good! The food was delicious, especially the chicken tikka masala. It was super creamy and perfect when paired with the garlic naan. Our waiter was great, and helped with suggestions on what to order. The place inside was super cute and cozy as well. Will definitely be coming again!
We LOVE Singh's! Every time I visit my parents we make a trip over for dinner. Everything we've ever gotten has been amazing - there are so many options for me (life-long vegetarian) and the rest of my family (meat lovers who were, up until recently, wary of trying Indian cuisine). This trip (pictured) we got veggie samosas, Veggie Biryani, meat me plate, and Mumbai Manchurian. I also got a Lychee Punch which was wonderful. My parents also got the Singh's golden lager and loved it. I can't recommend this place enough - it's adorable, yummy, and the staff is great!
If you haven't been to Singh's Kitchen yet, what are you waiting for?! This place is such a vibe--cozy, cute, and just the right amount of elegant. The decor is modern with little touches that make it feel warm and inviting. It's the kind of spot where you could come for a casual dinner but also feel fancy enough for a date night. The service was amazing! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and they really made the experience even better. Let's talk food because, honestly, EVERYTHING we tried was incredible. We went all-in on the appetizers: the Paneer & Cheese Samosas were crispy and gooey perfection, the Samosa Chaat was bursting with flavor, and the Brussels Sprouts Skillet was such a fun twist--it was crispy, savory, and downright addictive. The Aloo Tikki Chaat was another favorite, perfectly spiced and full of texture. You can't go wrong with any of these! For the mains, the Paneer Tikka Masala was a total standout. The sauce was rich and creamy, with just the right amount of spice. Scoop it up with their warm, buttery Garlic Naan, and it's pure heaven. The Vegetarian Biryani was also a hit--so flavorful and fragrant. Now, do not sleep on the drinks. The Guava Cocktail was hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had. Sweet, tangy, and refreshing--just WOW. You need this in your life. And then came dessert. Oh. My. God. The Rasmalai Tres Leches was absolutely mind-blowing--light, creamy, and so unique. The Pistachio Kheer was equally amazing, with a perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness. Both desserts are must-orders, no questions asked. What makes Singh's Kitchen so special is how they take classic Indian flavors and give them this modern, creative twist. It's fusion done right, and every dish feels like it's been made with so much thought and care. Seriously, this place is a gem. Whether you're into Indian food or just looking to try something new, Singh's Kitchen will blow you away. I already can't wait to go back!
Had a wonderful lunch at Singh's today. Super attentive service, and everything we ordered was delicious! Lots of food too! Will def have enough for dinner tonight. The cauliflower I could eat everyday!
Singhs Kitchen is located in the heart of Libertyville and I can't recommend it enough! If you ever find yourself in Libertyville, this is the best place you can stop for lunch or dinner. The flavors included in all the dishes were put together so well. Everything was beyond flavorful. My favorite part about this place was the uniqueness of the menu. I loved the modern Indian style and the handful of options available that you usually don't see on Indian restaurant menus. The paneer pizza and build your own pasta dish were seriously the best Indian fusion dishes I've ever had. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for! I recommend trying some of their interesting menu items. I am already eager to go back and try other options. The servers were extremely knowledgeable and attentive during our visit! Make sure you try their martini, absolutely delicious!
Downtown Libertyville PRO TIP: Eat lunch at 1 pm to avoid the lunch crowd. They sold me with garlic naan. I don't know why that's not a staple at every Indian restaurant. It should be. And I can say the garlic naan didn't disappoint. Singh's Kitchen is trendy and fits right in with the other spots on Milwaukee Ave. It's actually a lot bigger once you get inside and realize it spans two store fronts. The big windows also make for a perfect spot to eat, chat, and people watch. There's a couple of interesting options on the menu so rather than sticking with one of my typical picks, I chose the Garlicghee Surf and Turf. Points for the clever name because I love a good pun. The pork and veggies were delicious. The rice was a simple yellow/turmeric rice, def the right option for this dish. The surf part of this dish was shrimp and it just didn't work for me. The meal it self was very flavorful, but the shrimp didn't feel cohesive with the pork and it was a little overcooked. Still a good dish, but I'll probably do some more exploring on the menu next time. I also tried the vegetable samosa and would absolutely recommend them. Also worth noting, when I was walking out I saw a buffet set up so it looks like their brunch buffet (that I read about in much older reviews) may have returned!
If you're looking for a place to get quality Indian food with a great atmosphere and great hospitality. My first time eating at this restaurant and I LOVED it- experience was out of this world. Lucky enough to experience the Makhani wings, Goat curry and cilantro brussel sprouts. This is a true hidden gem!!!
